On a dreary and rainy day. Put your yellow hat on and even when you choose to look down you might see the the brightly colored parasol in an imaginated puddle. Sadness is a strong feeling, but so is happiness. We need to be able to feel them both.
Alex Offerdal is painting in symbols. He says he does not care about either religion or politics, but still some of his paintings are clearly inspired from exactly that. He has an explosive and naive way of expression. Even though his motives are often dark, tells us a sad story about life or the world, they are somewhat SpongeBob cartoon like and funny as well.
