When you shop at Munchx gallery, whether it's from the showroom in Villa Fredheim or the Munchx butikk, we hope you find exactly what makes your heart beat and that you put genuine emotions in your shopping cart.

Inspired by the past and present, Christine Munch aims to make Villa Fredheim a place for the flow of knowledge about art and design. The Munchx gallery is located in the villa and the name is linked to her family name. It is a homage to her grandparents, Didrik and Borghild Munch, who ran the property as Munch's boarding school. And to her parents, Kjell and Peppe Munch, who continued the legacy and opportunities.

The "X" in Munchx symbolizes the unknown. The impulsive and unforeseen in life. The opportunities we are given and the choices we make. Like looking for an x on a treasure map or coming to an intersection – a crossroads. When you look at a work of art and it tickles your stomach, then you know you have found the treasure on your own individual treasure map.
